Painting and Drawing in Enamel with Mi-Sook Hur
This demo-focused virtual workshop will explore drawing and painting techniques using overglaze paints in enamel. In this workshop, participants will uncover the intricacies of color interplay, pattern infusion, and compositional harmony through meticulously crafted step-by-step demonstrations. The students will execute diverse styles of paintings and drawings on enameled surfaces. The finished enamels can be set into wearable pieces such as earrings, pendants, and brooches. While some prior experience is beneficial, enamelists of all levels are invited to embark on this enriching journey into the fusion of enamel and creativity. This is a two-day virtual workshop to be hosted on October 13th and 20th, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm eastern time. If there is enough interest we will open up a second class in the morning on those same days. Recordings will be made available for everyone. It usually takes a day to get everything edited and uploaded for you. We will leave everything posted for the workshop attendees for THREE WEEKS after completion of the workshop.
We will send out the Materials List when it is provided.
